Is Paypal safe enough ?

The question a lot of people ask about Paypal is about its safe. We have the answer to that and its both yes and no. The Reason for that ? Well its all about what you sell or buy online with paypal. Lets just start out with the products mostly sold online with paypal which are the digital product.

Digital products are not what we call a safe product when using paypal. Since the digital product is so hard to track is there no Paypal coverage at all if the seller or buyer scams you. If you try to take this up with paypal it will automatic go to the seller and they still get your money and in that case all you can do is a chargeback from your bank. From the sellers side of things, you will mostly win when the buyer try to get her/his money back from you after you have send your product, and when that fails they do a charge back.

This case have we heard of with game sellers where they sell a lot and when they have send product they get charge backed by the costumer and ended up in a big debt to paypal on thousens of dollars with no help from paypal or anyone.

With physical products on the other hand will both of you have a fair deal on this. If a costum try to refund the product can you always give what information needed to fight this unless its a product problem. In case of charge back will Paypal help you and contact the bank who made the charge back from your product.
